Beautiful marble pattern green apple container, the front of the apple is hand painted with daisy flowers and green foliage. These apple containers were popular in the 1950s they were called Bits O' Glamour and the apples were hand painted by Sally Gould these were made in Los Angeles by Mitchell Gould Co stamped on the bottom.
These apples were usually part of a acrylic bathroom vanity set. There were matching painted vanity trays, Tissue boxes, containers and trash cans. These plastic apples originally held a big fluffy powder puff with scented powder. I thought these would make great little jewelry containers or vanity organizers. You could also use them somewhere else in your home, Kitchen, home office, craft room.
